Agreed, Zach. The key is, as you say, to utilize those buzzwords and jargon sparingly and make sure you explain them. Now get out there and incentivize authentic communities with your peer-to-peer APIs.

Let us never forget the greatest Gary Larson cartoon from the Far Side:

The first panel is titled "What we say to dogs." A man is scolding his
dog. The man's word-balloon says this: "Okay, Ginger! I've had it! You
stay out of the garbage! Understand, Ginger? Stay out of the garbage,
or else!?"

The second panel is titled "What they hear." The drawing is exactly
like the first panel, but this time the man's word-balloon says "Blah
blah GINGER blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah GINGER blah blah
blah blah blah."

"Reinvent Integrated Deliverables" you can't make this stuff up! Well maybe you could, but why would you? I have to agree with you Gene, and this is something i'm seeing more and more in not only the workplace, but in the classes I have been taking as well. It effectively turns off the people who are trying to understand and engage in the conversations that you are having. I think its ok to use industry buzz words and jargon, only if you utilize them sparingly and explain them.
